This website is deliberately a minimum of pages and content.

This website and services are owned and managed by Joanne Taylor, former Executive Director and Registrar of the non-profit, charity Nidus Personal Planning Resource Centre and Registry.

This website and email addresses are hosted by a server located in Canada.

No information emailed to RARC or submitted through the Contact form are sold to anyone. Information would only be shared if required by a party with legislative and necessary authorization (for example, a police service with a court order).

Comments

You can communicate with the owner of this site and services by email. Email communication is not necessarily private and you should never include any personal identification like your physical address or date of birth.

Payment for services are by e-transfer (electronic transfer). When you contact RARC about a service, you will receive the email address used for e-transfer payments. You need to contact your financial institution to set up e-transfer of money from your bank account to the RARC bank account. You send the payment using a specific e-mail address that RARC will send you to confirm the service request. The RARC bank account is set up to receive payment by direct deposit which avoids going back and forth with security question and answer.

Communication

Websites use “cookies” to track visitors. You can do an internet search for the browser you use (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) to find out how to delete cookies or prevent their use. There are pros and cons to this – cookies are a way that your Internet browser can display the website you seek quickly and easily.

The server acts as host to many sites and emails and abides by privacy legislation and ethical standards of conduct.

Storing of your information

When you email or submit the Contact form, RARC will keep your email address and information for up to one year. This helps for continuity in providing services. When deleting information, it may remain on the hard drive of the computer until overwritten. Every effort will be made to ‘trash’ the information and then to ’empty the trash’ to ensure the information can no longer be retrieved by RARC.
